Who we are
The Sylvanvale Disability Services is a not for profit charity organisation that was established in the year 1947. It was by then referred to as the Handicapped Children’s Centre New South Wales. The main aim of establishing the Sylvanvale Disability Services is to make sure that children who have any kind of disability are provided with the support and care that they need in order to live a very normal life. Those who first formed the organisation did so to make sure that their kids were provided with all the necessary services with the aim of enhancing the lives of those kids.

The vision of the Sylvanvale Disability Services is to see to it that a very collaborative society is created whereby community members will work in partnership to help cater for the needs of all the disabled children in the community.

The Sylvanvale Disability Services provides a number of well designed services to each and every disabled kid in the society and some of these services are listed below;
The provision of housing facilities
The organisation provides a number of unique housing facilities for disabled people and their families. In the case of those who do not want to stay in those housing facilities, the services that are rendered there can be accessed by them even in their own houses.
The provision of day care programs
The Sylvanvale Disability Services also runs a number of quality programs on a daily basis where people who have any kind of disability can go to and get provided with all the care that they deserve.
The provision of supportive services for kids with disabilities
This involves the provision of well designed services for kids who are aged between 6 years and 18 years.
The organising of social activities
This involves the organisation of events that are aimed at helping to bring people together under one roof so that can have fun and socialise with others.
The provision of National Disability Insurance Scheme
The Sylvanvale Disability Services also provides the National Disability Insurance Scheme service which allows people with disabilities to indicate where they want to receive their disability benefits.
