View Results Latest Draw 542It doesn’t matter whether you’ve always dreamed of retiring to the Sunshine Coast or would love to live by the ocean within easy reach of Melbourne, this is the prize home draw for you. You get to choose between two magnificent homes, each with unique features and breathtaking views, and each offered in a prize package worth over 1.7 million dollars.
The home in Queensland is a hinterland beauty, located in Maleny and overlooking the Glass House Mountains. The one in Victoria is perched on the Mornington Peninsula with the majesty of Port Phillip Bay at your doorstep. Both are beautifully designed to make the most of their natural surroundings and come fully equipped for your comfort and pleasure. You’ll be hard pressed to choose between them, but wouldn’t that be a wonderful problem to have!
The first home is a sleek, contemporary marvel spread over three levels atop a ridge that gives you 180-degree panoramic views of the iconic Glass House Mountains. That’s quite a mouthful – but this is quite a home!
Located in Maleny, 567 Mountain View Road is less than 100 km from Brisbane. You’re going to have a hard time believing it, however, when you’re tucked away in a retreat that couldn’t be spiritually further from the noise and bustle of the city. You’ll be surrounded by the quiet splendor of the hinterland and awestruck by the view through your floor-to-ceiling windows.
Everything about this home has been thoughtfully designed to accentuate its natural surroundings. Gleaming wood accents on the frames, towering white ceilings, and an entire wall of glass across the front of the house. Even the swimming pool and spa will leave you feeling as though you’re relaxing in the great outdoors.
The home has three bedrooms, including a guest suite with its own private living space. You’ll have no shortage of friends wanting to come for a visit and a play a bit of pool in your fully equipped games room.
If you’re pining for a day at the beach, your home is only a short drive from Caloundra and the endless sands of the Sunshine Coast. This home truly offers the best of both worlds – a place for quiet contemplation and the vibrant excitement of the Coast’s beaches, water sports, restaurants, and entertainment options.
The second home rivals the first for panoramic views, with all of Port Phillip Bay right out your back window. You’re within commuting distance of Melbourne but nestled in a small Mornington Peninsula community with its own unique atmosphere.
This expansive split-level home is located at 12 Burrawang Terrace in Mount Martha. Its open plan design maximizes the dominant feeling of spacious, uncluttered luxury. If you’ve got a family, or are planning to have one in the future, you’re going to want to take a closer look at the clever design features of this home. The children’s bedroom is located next to the family room and is set on two levels so that the kiddies can climb up to bed. They have plenty of space of their own, and even a playhouse in the garden.
If you love to entertain, this home has everything you could ever want for making your friends feel welcome. The kitchen is open to the dining area, which looks down onto the gorgeous sunken living room. This, in turn, leads to a roomy alfresco where you and your guests can dine overlooking the bay. There are four bedrooms in all, with plenty of room to stay over after an evening in front of the fireplace or watching the latest release on your massive TV screen in the family room.
The best thing about this home is its proximity to just about everything. The beaches of the Mornington Peninsula are legendary, and you’ve got one of the very best rights on your doorstep. You also have easy access to several golf courses – and of course, the lure of Melbourne’s culture and nightlife is never far away.
The town of Mount Martha dates back to the 1840s and has several listed heritage buildings. It’s a picturesque setting for boutique shops, cafes, and specialty restaurants.
Really, you’re going to love it here.
